Very sensitive skin and problematic skin, such as that which can occur with neurodermatitis, can become a real challenge when searching for the right skincare. Products with ingredients that further worsen the skin's appearance, or excessive skincare routines, can irritate the skin, cause itching, and trigger eczema. But don't worry, with a few tips, the right products, and the correct order, daily skincare can become a pleasant routine even for sensitive skin.
HOW TO
A skincare routine includes various steps for skin care, usually starting with cleansing, followed by several care steps for the face and lips. Adequate sun protection completes the routine in the morning.
Here are our best skincare products for very sensitive skin:

1. Gentle facial cleansing with our med cleansing gel
Start your skincare routine with a thorough facial cleanse using our med cleansing gel. The mild formula of skin-soothing bisabolol, moisture-retaining betaine, and botanical glycerin & vitamin E gently cleanses the skin without drying it out.
2. Moisturizing facial care with our med base cream or med day cream
Then provide your skin with an extra portion of moisture for the day. Our rich med day cream with a clean, hypoallergenic formula without fragrances is ideal for this, especially for very dry or itchy skin (for example, in the case of underlying neurodermatitis or rosacea).
3. Targeted support with our med wound cream
If you have weeping, moist, or itchy wounds, or slightly inflamed skin areas, you can supplement your skincare routine with our zinc-containing wound cream. On the face, it also supports the healing of minor skin inflammations, such as those that can occur with pimples or blemishes.
4. Rich lip care with our med balm
Your lips also deserve your attention. Our med balm for particularly stressed and dry skin completes your morning skincare routine and gives your lips a subtle shine.
5. Sun protection for the day with our med sun balm
Don't forget to apply sunscreen! The daily skincare routine always includes the right sun protection, especially in the spring and summer months. Our med sun balm with SPF 50 offers you high protection with a purely mineral zinc oxide filter. Feel free to check out our magazine for more information about our sunscreen.
Depending on the individual needs of your skin, you can, of course, always integrate additional steps and supplementary products, such as face masks, facial oils, or serums, into your skincare routine.
However, for sensitive skin and skin problems like rosacea or neurodermatitis, we recommend avoiding aggressive exfoliants, as they could further irritate the skin. You should also use lukewarm water instead of very warm or hot water and avoid other individual trigger factors, such as intensive towel drying, as much as possible.
