A few weeks ago we were happy to announce that our shampoo bar is available from dm in Germany and Austria . But many from the boep community had never used a solid shampoo and were skeptical as to whether it was really that easy to use and whether it was suitable for the whole family. That's why around 150 product testers have extensively tested the boep shampoo bar in the last few weeks - and these are the results ⇣

For boep shampoo pieces for babies and children

"The shampoo lathers up wonderfully. The hair feels clean after washing and is easy to comb through." (Tanya)

"I was particularly surprised by the really nice foam of the shampoo bar. The handling is great." (Simone)

"The washing result is very good, it is in no way inferior to our previous liquid shampoo!" (Maria)

"At first I was concerned that my long and thick hair would not be lathered, but the shampoo bar worked really well." (Nicole)

Many of the product testers were enthusiastic about how well the shampoo bar foams up and is therefore very easy to distribute in the hair. Some of you had already tested hair soaps - here we would like to add afterwards that hair soaps differ from solid shampoos. Hair soaps clean with saponified oils, which usually foam up less than the surfactants in solid and liquid shampoos. You can read more about it here .

Most of the testers tested the shampoo directly with the whole family and were pleased that it is suitable for the little ones, but also gives pleasure to the grown-ups. Many praised the easy handling and the fact that many kids could use the shampoo bar themselves.

Mamalicious product test with the boep shampoo bar

Not only the feedback in our community made us very happy - the Swiss community Mamalicious was also allowed to test the boep shampoo piece and was enthusiastic : 100% of the testers found the handling good and would recommend the solid shampoo! Many would use the shampoo not only for the little ones, but also in the future themselves. The Mamalicious test results can be found here .

In both product tests, the fragrance-free formulation was frequently praised - especially for use with children. However, some have expressed a desire for another scented shampoo bar! We found that exciting and then developed the strawberry piece , a solid shampoo with a gentle strawberry scent for children and adults.
